My darling friend, Krista, suggested on her blog that I take a design quiz. Well, now I'm suggesting to you to do the same thing. It was really fun, and I've been enlightened as to which design style I'm most drawn:
It's called "French Eclectic."
But may I clarify that just because they say I'm "French Eclectic," does not mean I actually decorate like this. Ha! In my dreams do I decorate like this. I'm still living off my college apartment art I bought at the campus poster art sale, and the balding, fake, potted plant from IKEA. Someday, I'll try and decorate like these surrounding pictures.
Technically, I'm a combination of 38% French Eclectic, 38% Cottage Chic and 24% Classic. But I guess they're calling it French Eclectic. 
Okay, so I don't think I've ever spent hours on eBay surfing for antiques, but I like that they think that of me! Ha! I guess I could say I love a good flea market. So, now you know a little bit more about me. What is your design style? Find out here, then share it with me - I'm super curious now!

Even if your backyard isn't acres of farmland and you don't actually have a chicken coop, your house sure brings you back to a time when that was the case. You love spaces that feel casual and lived in. Furniture is practical and comfortable, and yet at the same time its very stylish. The best part of country style is how much it highlights collection and found objects. Antiques here, garage sale finds there and Aunt Milly's hand-me-downs throughout. Unique items that used to serve very practical purposes are now on display, and their history seems to permeate the home. Each space in the home seems to invite friends and family to come in and stay a while. There is a true sense of home felt throughout.

I'm 50/50 Cottage Chic and Rustic Revival, which makes it sound like I'm going to call a camp meeting on reviving rustic living room designs. I do like the cottage chic description:

That was way fun Ash. I am 60% contemporary (not very well rounded, eh?) and 20% zen style and 20% rustic revival. Which actually is a great description of me. Thanks. It was way fun.
