Caprese salad, which falls in my top two favorite meals. Main ingredients: tomatoes, fresh mozzerella cheese, fresh basil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and a pinch of salt. We grabbed a loaf of delicious bread and enjoyed every bite of the meal.
Here's to good food and good company.
MMMM I love Caprese salad (especially in the summer) but unfortunately, my husband doesn't like tomatoes so it's not a meal that we ever fix around here.

ReplyDeleteHere I am coming out into the open and commenting publicly as an outed blog-stalker. Just love your blog, Miss Ashley, and your deserve to know it. Your blog is what my blog wants to be when it grows up. Someday, I'll need to pick apart your brilliant design-talented mind to get some tips on how to make mine prettier. Glad I actually got to meet you for realsies after hearing your praises sung high and low. And you should know the the Caprese salad was my meal of choice every night upon arriving home when I lived in Italy. This is why I could stay quiet no longer, I must bear my testimony of the Caprese. I attribute all of my missionary goodness to this food. Us Jones girls know how to EAT. :)
ReplyDeleteSo this is the most interesting salad I think I have ever seen.
ReplyDeleteCan't say that I've heard of Caprese Salad before, though.
