Amendment
So, for those of you who are thinking, "What in the world is mein Schatz?" here is your explanation. Sorry, my bad. I got a little caught up in writing the last entry. It is German for, "my treasure." In Germany, it is a term of endearment that is used by girls to call their boys. The “a” is usually held for a longer period of time producing a whiney, almost naggy sound. Sometimes, they even add a “y” at the end making it even more of a pet name: “Schatzy!” I came to love it. I still do.
