Mein Schatz

Mein Schatz. I would like to introduce you to the newest member of the Ashley Jones family: her name is Schatz. She is my new 2007 Toyota Corolla CE. Yes. I purchased a car. My sis and I have been sharing a car since I got home from the mission and it started to get a little difficult cause our schedules were becoming pretty different. So, Papa Jones and I hopped on Autotrader.com, KSLcars.com and the like and found a 2007 Toyota Corolla CE with 6,000 miles on it for $9500. Can you believe that?! It is brand new and in perfect condition! I must admit, that in the beginning of the search, my heart was set on a white Honda Accord. For any of you who know me, you know that that is basically my dream car. After test driving this Corolla, my mind has been changed. I don't really have a dream car anymore. I'm in love with my new little car. Seriously. It is amazing what a new car does to you. I am almost scared to drive it. You know when you move into a new apartment with new roommates, there is that awkward fear inside you? Ya, that is how I felt driving my car back down to Provo after picking it up. I drove the speed limit the whole way home (oops, I mean, I do that all the time. That was for you Mom.)and am super careful about what I do in that car. No food allowed. Only the best of music is played. Last night my amazing roommates and I were all home (which does not happen very often) and we all decided to take Schatz for a little test drive. We rolled down the windows and paid a tribute to my high school club "The Dodgers" and played our theme CD. It was definitely the best girls night in a while.
