Thanks to our friend Jo, at A Cup of Jo, we have the beautifully-classy "Holiday Hair" suggestion: the side chignon.
Here is a little step-by-step tutorial:
Is that not so fabulous? It makes me want to go to a Christmas party and sip wassail while leaving red lipstick marks on my glass.
It's adorable. I am completely hair inept, and I would look like a homeless person if I tried that.
ReplyDeleteLeaving lipstick on one's glass does make one feel quite grown-up. Not on one's straw though. That just looks tacky.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what wassel is, but I am definitely planning on curling my hair and wearing red lipstick : )
ReplyDeleteKristina - I love the homeless person comment. Krista - you're right... straws are a little less classy. But there can only be one set of lip prints on the glass, or else then it just looks gross and messy. :) Hill - wassail is a delicious Christmas drink like apple cider... only better.
ReplyDeleteomg i love wassail!! soo tasty. my mom makes it every year. and i am actually saving this picture and SO doing my hair like this for a holiday party. this is gorgeous!
